  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Backorder Update - November 8

Just when I was about to order a 5" touch LCD it went backordered again... Any news on when it'll be available? As I understand you guys manage to make these LCDs pretty quickly
 
I think the touch screen has been on backorder for a while. I ordered Nov 3rd and it was said to be in stock but no processing on the item yet. I would call if you need to know if something is available.
 
That is odd robert though thanks for sharing. When I did my order, it was in stock and the buy now option was available and full amount is on my order receipt. Will have to see when it comes time to my support gear order process, perhaps there is a long line of people in que for the touch. Can anyone at Red confirm the status of the touch lcd?

Robert, I ordered the 5" touch screen in a separate accessories order on the 3rd which is scheduled to be delivered today. I'd call them if I were you.

Wow, I thought "In Stock" means ready to ship within 3-5 business days, apparently I was wrong
 
The 5" LCD is listed as "In Stock" again — ordered. We'll see how long it'll take for it to get in my hands.
 
i saw that, though now backordered again. i wonder if this is due to Red putting orders through which are ahead of the line, but you would think that inventory is connected to the web store. so even when you or i ordered, it is in fact in stock. could be a computer thing, i hope so. i ordered while in stock and dont want to be caught without a menu control when the camera comes. time will tell of course.

havent been too many updates, perhaps just busy getting stuff out. could be a good thing.

Will the backorder effect the shipping of the Scarlet tactical cage kit? I have one ordered with my Scarlet brain, not sure what the wait will be once they ship.

Also curious about the Redmote, is this a long wait? Heard some have been waiting a bit for that. Thanks!!
 
Yes, please update when possible. We are dying for our side handle and tactical top plate! Both of which were thought to be out of backorder.

Thanks for any update you can provide so we can plan!

I was informed by my bomb squad rep that it should be any day now for most of the back orders.

Keep your fingers crossed.
