Audio Playback w/Red Rocket Monitor Out in RCX Pro

[Alejandro W]

.
In RedCine-x w/ RedRocket card, can I somehow get audio out while playing back through the RedRocket Mon out? It doesn't seem to be embedded in the HD-SdI.

Audio playback is fine when playing back within RedCine-x but goes away the moment I click RED ROCKET Monitor Out

Thanks

Alejandro

In the Red Rocket install guide/Hardware Specs under the Audio section it states 'embedded audio', OutPut - 1BNC (via video out).
Do I need to enable this in RedCine X?

am I alone here? ...

Got word from Bomb Squad Rep. Apparently Install Guide deceived me, no audio is embedded in the SDI out ...at the moment.

Any word on this? It would be good to have some sort of Audio option?

thanks

Same here. Any shortcuts or a way to bypass this?

Old thread but just tried playing audio from latest v 30 RCX (timeline / clip viewer)
I get audio out from the computer when ROCKET monitoring is disabled... when enabled no signal is embedded and it also disable audio playback thru the computer.

Would be very useful if we could enable rocket playback and still get some audio out...

You can setup RCX to use a bmd/Aja card to send video and audio while keeping the rocket enabled for playback and transcodes. Just look for it under video out settings in the prefs.

yep tried that quickly but RCX crashed after I enabled my BM deckling while keeping rocket for debayer... will try again tomorrow, see if this solution can work.

Humm''' this is real funny (lol), this thread isn't getting attention by RED team since 2012...

Hello RED Team?

[Alejandro W]

You mean it still won't do it?!

I have since sold my red rocket, and oddly enough haven't needed the embedded audio since, though I'm surprised it wasn't officially addressed and/or updated and working.
