How long does it take to wait for delivery after ordering? ..
We ordered our kit last summer and are still waiting ...
Some people got lenses with some defects.
This is true ?

Dear Malk,

It takes a long time to build and QC these lenses.

It varies depending on when the order was placed, which focal lengths, etc.

Our lenses have a one year warranty against manufacturing defects.

Lenses are like cars:

-There are exotic ones and there are workhorse ones that just drive
-They Require maintenance, the more and harder they are used the more often they may need service.
-They are complex and made up of many parts and types and systems, metal plastic and glass
-Many people are passionate about them
-Cars transport people and objects, lenses transport light and ideas
-Not every single one that leaves the line is perfect due to their complexity , but a good manufacturer will always take good care of a user
-Many times results depend on the driver

My aim with the Orion Series lenses at Atlas is to give you Porsche 911 feeling and performance - a little bit vintage but with heart pounding performance just a bit of throttle control away , but at Volkswagen pricing.

The reality of making lenses in our Time is that it is incredibly difficult , takes an incredible amount of skill, perseverance , passion, timing , luck and the ability to listen, learn and adapt quickly to challenges.

Our company isn’t 100 years old, it isn’t 50 years old. It isn’t even 5 years old yet. We have been shipping product to customers for less than 2 years as of this writing.

But our company is made up of brilliant people with many years of combined experience and a shared goal of changing the cinematography landscape for the better and forever.

My commitment is to make the best possible tools for image makers worldwide while also making them more accessible to everyone who has a dream to make incredible images and carry the human narrative.
