Arg i need scarlet right now!

????

Please do explain...

Well if you equip one feature for feature to match what comes on board a Sony or Panasonic 2/3" ENG camera, LCD, EVF, I/O module, Battery module, B4 servo zoom, etc. Scarlet will be near the price of a PMW350. Drop that to about like an HP500 Panasonic for the fixed. Still a great deal IMO.
But you don't really need all of that to start with.

I need to get a camera right now!... the af-100 is looking so tasty..... If i didnt know scarlet was just around the corner id have no problem picking up an af-100. ...

The af-100 is still a prototype. So you can't just pick one up. If you have a project to produce, rent.
