I have encountered a problem wherein large blue dots appear on my brand new Pro LCD when in playback mode. The dots are not present during shooting or on the footage in the NLE. Is the LCD broken or is there a way I can fix this?

Well, it looks like it might not be the LCD. I tried different cables and an EVF and the blue dots are present on both display devices. Maybe the entire camera is bad?

I didn't get a chance to test the HDMI ports. The dots were present on both the EVF and the LCD (with different cables tested), but only in Playback mode (not while shooting, and not present on footage viewed on the computer). Camera went back to Red for testing.

Was it a time-lapse shot? I've done a couple long shutter shots where a few pixels looked blown out on playback (and while shooting) but turned out fine on the computer. Not sure the cause.

Nope, just a regular shot. I have a quicktime of the issue that I will upload in a bit.

I have now tested with two different LCDs, two different EVFs, five different LCD/EVF cables, battery powered and DC powered. The issue must be the camera itself.
