  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

April shipping update

1. Yes. We did ship some RAVEN packages in March, not as much as we hoped due to accessory availability, but some.
2. Again, refer to my answer from 3. You are assuming there were RAVENs coming off the line as well in that equation. Maybe we blasted through our first production run? And our next (and bigger) run started a few days ago?
4. You think a 100x (or lower) RAVEN packages were ordered in first couple of days? Pretty sure you are only looking at the tip of the iceberg, my friend, check under the water line as well.

I can't imagine how many RAVEN preorders there were on day one. That's why I figured RED was being so generous with allowing them to switch over to Scarlet-W, partially as a way to up-sell (hey, gotta make money!) but also as a strategy to reduce the overall numbers of RAVEN unit they needed to fulfill immediately.

I'm sure RED has been keeping the production lines chugging along. They want to sell cameras as much as you want to shoot on them! (edit, i realized I quoted Brent, but this last line is for Jordan... and me and everyone else who is antsy!)
 
Um ok, confusing. So you are saying actual pkgs went out in March? And almost a month later not one person has ever seen one? Not one reduser or rental house or people I know that ordered in the first few minutes?
and to number 4, yeah that is what I said first, I don't know how you plan to get 100+ allocation notices out in two days, but if you can God bless you.

My bomb squad told me this
The accessory credit is applied to your RED account only after the WEAPON upgrade package ships out. It cannot be applied towards the overall WEAPON payment. Also, keep in mind, that the accessory credit now only applies towards CF WEAPON Upgrades, not Magnesium WEAPON Upgrades.

Is it just me or were people a little more patient and understanding when we were waiting for our original Scarlet-X? Lol

Ok, jordan. You said 100x. I asked where that arbitrary number came from, and you said it was your assumption. I said the orders on those first days were a shit ton more than 100x. Then you are back to 100x like it has some significance to RED and we are obligated to notify them in two days. Happy for you to show me what I am missing here…

Kemalettin, the deadline to order and get an accessory credit with a Mg purchase expired months ago. Are you saying you have a pre-expiration deadline Mg order and you think your rep is saying it vanished?

Sorry brent, I thought the other day you told someone else in this thread that all first day Raven pkgs will get notices pre-nab. So a bunch of were like wow. It's alright if was another miscommunication, I'm over it. I'll just stand by and be quiet.

K. jordan, please read what was asked. Will any RAVEN packages, with day of announcement of RAVEN timestamps, be blasted before or during NAB. I said, there will be notifications. And... There will be.

I don't know where that was assumed to be that 100x number or ALL packages will be blasted. I was not asked about ALL or replied about ALL.

By my thousands of posts, you know I love you guys and this forum. But when sometimes it becomes a game of "operator" where words get twisted or assumptions made, it leads to misinformation. I will always try to be as clear as possible.

Wow congratulations! Looks like they are through the bottleneck of Raven orders. Mine is stamped early December, so I hope I get mine soon!
