  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I didn't ordered package because there's no Jetpack Scarlet-W package, so I spent more but still didn't got my camera ;)
 
Man now i wish i'd ordered a package. Been sitting on my scarlet brain for over a month now and i still can't turn it on lol. Has anyone gotten any 4.7 inch monitors ala carte yet? My order for it was placed back in October.
 
Plus, you can't expect RED to make packages for all various combinations of accessories. I preordered the package, which comes with a Canon mount, but I use Nikon so I will have to buy that mount separately. I'm not complaining that they aren't offering a Nikon mount package. They offer the package they put together, they didn't need to put together a package at all and could have made us order everything a la carte.

Late in ordering what??

My first order was Raven Jetpack at September 26. When SW was announced I was expecting that it will be also available in package with Jetpack expander as Raven was.
I got reply from my rep that there will be only 1 SW package (I/O). I was forced to order everything separately which doesn't has much sense that I'm buying more expensive camera, paying more for not be able to buy package and would not get the protective case...ok, no problem, just send me what I ordered and I will buy localy some Pelicase.

It's probably better to buy the package and then sell what you don't need as new for like 10% off retail. Seems like people are getting good value on sales of accessories on this forum.

so you have a raven order time stamp of 9/26 and then switched to scarlet?
then call your rep, you should of been allocated already.

Holy Cow! Nov 4th. They jumped from Sept 25th (my date) to Nov 4th in two days?

Noah's flood is happening, Red rain is falling down.
 
Cause on the RED site the case pictured with the Raven package looks like it has a top pull up handle and most likely has wheels - guess we'll wait and see.

Not trying to be mean or start anything but why would you expect to get a free case that is usually $400-500 something on its own without buying a package. What other manufactures offer a Pelican or Hard case with their camera without buying a package that they offer? It's rare that other manufacturers even offer a package, especially at a discounted rate.
 
Please read my post again.
I have ordered ALL what is inside I/O package, just wanted Jetpack expander instead I/O, and plus ordered some more accessories.
My final invoice is more than $1.000 higher than I/O package itself but again my order is not eligible for case...
