  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

April shipping update

nice guys!
but i guess NO raven pkgs yet again?
i really dont get it now, last clarification from brent was if there was 10x packages ready, then 5X would go to scarlet-w and 5X would go to Ravens in time stamp order.
so im counting at least 8-10 scarlet pkgs allocated since last week, and 0 raven ones.
oh well, guess none of raven guys are getting it before NAB, at least we can see whats in vegas and perhaps go back to a brain only order, possibly pick up an OMOD+WC plate!

I could be wrong, but not everyone getting allocated is on this form. Just keep that in mind.

yes obviously, but i know most of the people that ordered raven in the first few minutes, im in the first 12 minutes.
either way, you would think one of us, not me yet, but one of the first guys on here would get it. im pretty sure not one raven package has gone out yet, only brains.
and yeah, we were first told "packages" will start shipping in march and havent.
but like i said, "oh well" haha.
another but, there is still a couple hours left in the day :)

My time stamp is ahead of yours, but I have no allocation.

My S-W package (switched from Raven ordered 9/25 @ 12:22am) was allocated last Thursday and paid for in full right away, and it still has not shipped.

Got allocated thursday, paid monday, shipped wednesday.
 
It's nice to see all the updates on Scarlet W - and those Raven orders that switched to Scarlet W - but what about the actual Ravens?

I have one of the first Raven orders in and I have specifically ordered brain only, knowing that accessories always hold the packages back. I am yet to hear any even rough estimate as to when my order might be allocated. All updates are about Scarlet W. Two dozens Ravens were meant to be in the first batch in March. I know things at mad over at HQ - especially with NAB around the corner - but I would really appreciate any update on the actual Raven orders...

hmmm, something strange is going on then. maybe they will actually hit us with allocations tomorrow too, ramping it up before nab…hopes :)

With the original Scarlet MX orders, everything came scattered. I got most of my accessories for the package a month or two before the brain then the side handle came last.

This time around I'm pretty sure that they are just sending allocations for packages that are complete, as I believe everything comes together in the case. They did things with the packages differently this time around, you actually save money and can't substitute with the packages. Before you didn't save anything with packages and could swap out whatever. They were just there as, "hey this is a great complete or starting setup for certain users."

yeah, of course, but those two were actually saying they had the exact same package with an earlier order time. so hoping they are just not done allocating for this week.

Maybe the allocated ones were jetpack and the other were vlock, and their expanders aren't there yet.

Edit: Nevermind, didn't realize there wasnt a S-W jetpack package.

we are all hoping there is a second allocation day today, especially since it seems like things were a little out of wack on yesterdays with people with later time stamps getting allocated before some others with much sooner ones for scarlet-w pkgs.
and the fact we were promised raven packages would be allocated simultaneously with scarlet pkgs and it seems like that did not happen, unless there are at least 10 raven pkgs that went out to people that are not on reduser.
though i would find that surprising since most of us learned of this surprise on 9/24 9:30pm on facebook, then a few minutes later on reduser and most of us ordered within 10 minutes of that, the amount of time it took to read the post, the sepcs and scramble for our wallets!
unless there were tons of insiders that got the news before us, but i thought we were the insiders ;)
anyway, i have hopes for today, but you know what they say…expectation is the root of frustration…

then i look at the positive part, since no allocations would mean no raven packages being received before NAB, even if allocations go out next week, its too late to receive them, we get to check out if there are any surprises or get hands on with 3rd party modules that might better suit some of our needs and maybe save some money in the long run. also play with a raven setup and see if it is even right for your needs.
 
One thing to consider about ordering and time stamps, and I only can relate this to buying fine art prints in the past, but consider that alot of people buying are not on this forum - they could have had hundreds of orders within the first 2 minutes. So even by comparing timestamps to people on here - that is not a good indication of where you are in the alotment process.

yes, but that doesnt explain the few that announced they got allocated yesterday, and the few that said hey, i have an earlier time stamp for the same pkg. im sure they are calling their reps today!
