Apple Mac Pro 64GB RAM (8x 8GB Modules)
For sale is for a total of eight (8) Apple original 8GB modules. Combined, you will have 64GB of RAM for your machine. This RAM was purchased Apple installed into a 2012 6-Core Intel Xeon Mac Pro. It has been lightly used and professionally installed (by Apple). Around 3 hours of actual use/run time.

The RAM is in perfect condition, no mechanical or superficial scratches, problems, errors, etc. It works flawlessly.

Apple sells this upgrade for $1,950 with a new Mac Pro. Save your money! If you're purchasing a new Mac Pro, stick with the default 12 GB install they offer. Once you receive the Mac Pro, toss that paltry 12 GB and install this 64 GB set. Wish we had done that to begin with.

Thanks for looking.

So let me understand this... You paid $500 for RAM from Rob Anderson at some point in the last week and it doesn't work in your system? So you're re-selling it, for $300 more, claiming it works fine. And quoting, almost verbatim, what Rob's original thread selling the RAM said. Which system do you have? It will work in any '09 (Mac Pro 3,1) or newer. It's PC3-10600, or 1333MHz DDR3, which is ideal for the current 2010+ Mac Pro.

As a moderator, this may not be the best way for me to address this issue... But come on.. something here just doesn't smell right.

Marcello, This is a very odd story. You originally bought the RAM from me. Then emailed saying you wanted to cancel the transaction because it would not work on your machine. No problem. I then sold and shipped the RAM to another RU member. After-the-fact, you then sent me payment via PayPal (which I just discovered sitting in my account and refunded you) and sent another email to me stating you changed your mind, now you want the RAM because you are buying a new Mac Pro and can use it. Never mind our original transaction was already cancelled, that statement about the new Mac Pro directly contradicts what you are saying here.

Further, you are using my photographs and my written details to resell RAM you never received and was never shipped to you.

In other words, you're trying to sell something here you do not have and absolutely are not getting. Please do not do this in the future.

Thank you Jeff for recognizing the 'fishyness' of this transaction and my apologies Mikael for the confusion caused by this.

Thanks Rob for clarification on this.

Looks like Marcello thought he finally bought the RAM as he did send money etc...

In the end it looks more like a big mis-communication issue rather than a scam with a seller stealing someone else's photos etc
Sorry Marcello but as I send money to Rob over a week ago for the RAM, I was a bit surprised by your posts !

There is nothing wrong with an open market where everybody can buy and sale things with an open price?! Come on I made a mistake to buy an item that I did not wanted or worked for me...I wrote to the seller and I have prove that I was unsure about my machine and after I figure out I could sale those for much more....now I am wrong....you are a bunch of fake people...I just used my brain to resolve my problem and I openly put a price....now I am the fake one who is selling on eBay and on ru....you re dear eBay fake seller who refund money because you don't like to loose money or that other people smarter....make more money or your ram.....come on!
This is one of my job...buy and resale and I don't think there is nothing wrong....

I PAID FOR THE ITEM AND I WAS EXPECTING TO RECEIVE IT
AFTER I COULD SALE FOR DOUBLE????THAT'S NOT YOUR F??? BUSINESS!!!!

FREE WORLD???FREE TECHNOLOGY????FREE FROM DOUG????

And please before you speak about people be aware of their nature and how everything went...not one side just because you like it more....
DEMOCRACY AND FREE MARKET!!!

I PAID FOR AN ITEM THAT WAS LISTED IN TWO PLACES AND HE SMARTLY LEFT THE EBAY AUCTION ON AND LET THE STUPIDs BID UNTIL HE DECIDED THE BEST DEAL.....

am I the wrong one....?

And to be precise you did cancel the transaction today and refunded me today.....you are a liar and a coward because you never said one word about price....you sold it for much less on ebay and you wanted make much more money.....
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO to your bad karma!!!

Marcello,

Please do not drag me through your dirt. Yes, you are the wrong one and your moral compass seems badly askew.

1. I listed RAM via eBay. You purchased that memory and then immediately cancelled our transaction stating it would not work with your machine. Transaction done. After-the-fact, you decided to send me payment later anyway and concocted a fictional excuse as to why you had a change in heart. I found that payment sitting in my PayPal account yesterday (I've been filming on the Colorado River for the last many days), so I promptly refunded your unclaimed payment. Period.

2. Mikael purchased the RAM and it was boxed and shipped to him. The price was the same (shipping expedited from Las Vegas to France plus insurance and PayPal transaction fees makes both purchase prices within $15 of each other). It had nothing at all to do with the price and quite frankly, never would have.

3. After the fact, you then came here, LIED and posted that you had memory and made false claims regarding the condition of the memory and your experience with it. Quite frankly, you pretended to be the owner, used my photos, and blatantly misrepresented your sale to the folks on RU here.

You never had the memory and were never going to receive it. You not only misrepresented a transaction, lied about your experience with the memory, lied to me about why you later changed your mind and wanted the memory, lied to users here about the RAM, and again lied in more statements above.

And all of this was done so that you could turn a quick profit and then try and discredit me once you were caught doing it.

Cap it all off with this private message from you:
"You are bery stupid and the reason is that you cannot sale your item for more and sadly you decide to try ebay and then you change idea because you figure out that other people are smarter and you are the only stupid one...so you decided to refund me....d...b.."

I think we're done here. Thanks.

Well Marcello, I had eBay investigate the messages you sent and the totally unwarranted (not to mention unprofessional) feedback you posted to my account. See here:

Your 'feedback' was removed by eBay, per violation of their ULA. And upon investigation of the private messages you sent (including their confirmation that you cancelled our transaction), they've also taken additional action against your account, which I will not disclose here.

What goes around, will always come around.

Someone ban this guy from the forum. Bottom line, he intentionally tried to sell RAM he didn't have in his posession. That is a scam and something someone who is dishonest does. Please revoke his privelage to post here again!
