  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Any Test On Euphonix MC Color

Are you guys using MC color with Redcine-x? RR should work with that right while MC color plugged in. I heard Avid bought Euphonix. I know MC color works with FCS's Color, but wondering if Da Vinci and it will talk soon.

Any news?
 
Working with Color and REDcine-x right now. Very cool! The Euphonix guys are hard at work developing more control, but the basics are there right now. Understand that Black Magic is interested in opening-up to other control surfaces, but not there yet. Official word from Avid is business as usual for Euphonix and no worries about ending support for Apple, etc.

Cool- great product and the guys at Euphonix are as great as ever.
 
The panel is pretty terrific... very nicely designed and well built. The RCX support is definitely basic at this time, but I know it's going to improve. The Wave always felt like a toy to me... this thing is more usable to me because it feels more like what I'm used to.

I can think of a zillion different ways that I'm hoping I'll be able to use it in RCX. For now, it's a great start with a ton of potential.
 
Brook, you should say what improvements you can think of, or pass them on to people at Euphonix. They listen!

Contolling the sensitivity on MC Color

Hi Guys

I need some help with setting the panel's sensitivity. It's too high by default. Dropping the setting to slow in Eucon has no effect. Any ideas?

I tried that but it didn't seem to work. Do I need to be out of RCX when hitting the page buttons? No dialogue box or detail comes up when I tried this outside of RCX. By default Storm is much more to my liking for the sensitivity.

Would you mind running through an idiots guide for me please which I can repro step by step in RCX.

Ah, that was the apple color sensitivity buttons. Not sure of how to do it in rcx. I'd email euphonix if you haven't already.
 
Yep juat had it confirmed from Euphonix that it is up to RED to add the ability to control the MC Color's sensitivity. So Guys if you are listening please, pretty please, may you add this to the next build of RCX.

HI RED team,

would be great to know if we will be able to adjust the sensitivity of the MC Color? Right now its way too sensitive.
