  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Any low tripod that you want to recommend?

Im looking for a tripod that goes really low as complement to a "normal" sized. Does any one have one that you like to recommend.

Joel,

You need to provide everyone more information such as what you have now.

100mm, 150mm, Mitchell?

How much does the rig weigh that you want to use?

How low do you want to go?

For "really low", have you considered a high hat on a board?

Getting a really low tripod to also be rock steady and stable under load is usually difficult - which is why Hi-hats are still used!

I'm using that Induro and freaking love it.

While I also love the Induro, I can not carry two Sticks so I only carry one that does absolutely all...

My trusted Gitzo Giant Carbon x6... Spreads strait down to the floor, and I more then once, rigged a hole so that the bottom end of the fluid head sticking out of the 100mm bowl went in, literally making the tripod spread at ground level as I used to do in my Still Photography days... ;)

Wait till you see what I just beta tested from Induro.......;)

I'm glad I have been reminded about the Induro - which I saw ages ago, and have been reminded of by this thread.

But you have me intrigued Timur!

The induro will fit my needs perfectly!
