Rather random question, does the new Ultra Brite feature a dim mode within the menu system?

I have no hands on experience with it, but I can see that being useful indoors.

+15 on cable-free.

RED website shows it working with the side LEMO ... but does it work with the RED DSMC2 top plate https://www.red.com/dsmc2-tactical-top-plate

I would guess yes based on this old FB photo from Jarrad https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?...sF7CJsDc2y9AsiOOyJGsO9WrqsuHFKe5VofRbTPV1QuuE .

Please confirm Jarred.

I'm not Jarred, but yes, it will work with the DSMC2 Tactical Top Plate.

If you are going just from one of the on body pogos, you want to use Lemo Adapter A.

Here is a side by side Nate just took outside so you can see the size difference and the brightness difference between the normal 7" and the Ultra Brite outside in the sunlight.

Phil, no "dim mode" toggle, no. Just same incremental brightness adjustments as our other LCDs.

That'll do just fine with me.

Just to confirm, there's no way to directly attach this monitor to the DSMC2 body? I'd love to replace my current 7" but I shoot a lot of run and gun that requires the cable-free attachment to the body.
