I cringed during the Hampton commercial at the end when they throw the ball at the lens...
The 19-90mm is a great lens and you covered just about every feature in your write-up. Fujinon has a great history in optics especially in their ENG division. If you think this 19-90mm Cabrio is nice, check out the Premiere zooms. Absolutely stunning.

nice thing about the lens too is the zoom rocker is powered directly if you have LDS mount. microforce can eat it!

great stuff, Timur. i have one question, i was under the impression that to use it with the f65 you needed a cable? i saw them prepping it with my camera at a rental house and they had a cable attached.

Perhaps the F65 doesnt power the lens. The F55 AFAIK does.

Tell me about it.... i made them find 1/2" plexi with 4 grips, and rigging holding it in place.....

Did you ever try to put an on a EF mount camera with a simple (dumb) PL to EF adapter? Would like to use it on a EF c300. Or does the back end stick out to much?

depends on the flange distance of the c300 itself. if all the dumb mount does is offset it to the right distance so pl can fit, good chance it will work, but it has to be exact. otherwise you might be stuck not being able to focus to infinity or something.

Ah HAH! but the CAbrio has back focus adjust ment.... It may just work...........

But I am able to modify the Canon 30-105mm and it works. Now a PL mount and Canon EOS mounted Cine zoom that converts to PL or Canon within seconds without tools.

will the 30-15 cover FF 5D? or is it a S35 lens.

The 30-105 is for Super 35. The new Zeiss 28-80mm will cover FF.
