  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

An Epic First Day :)

"John Schwartzman, Junior Member" -- that is classic!

I mean you shot "The Rock"! So grateful you're on here sharing your experiences!

Thanks!

It sort of takes your breath away to read the first post in this thread. We are talking history, here.

John is not a Junior Member anymore... :-)

Haha. I love it. Jim, it's truly awesome that you do the little things like change a "junior member" to "Trained Professional." Name another person in your situation (being a billionare/CEO) that would find doing such mundane tasks not only fun, but worth your time.

You are an inspiration. Thank you.

Today was Epic, Monday December 6 marks the first day the Red Epic camera was used to shoot a major studio motion picture.

This is the most significant post on here in a while. And there have been a lot of significant posts recently. So nice to hear.

Do you know how to become a millionaire? Start with a billion and build a camera... :-)

Literally laughing out loud.

You seem to be in a good mood tonight :) You should be, you just turned the industry on its ear. Congratulations on a monumental achievement!

You would think that being able to announce the "big" titles "Shot on RED" would be the thrill. Actually it is just working with these guys. John is really delightful... not just talented. Jarred and I have already learned a ton from him. John has such a good attitude and is infectious to be around (not like in the flu)... we really feel lucky just to hang out.

wasn't feeling so hot tonight...

wasn't feeling so hot tonight...

looking for something to cheerily put me to sleep at 2:00
in the morning; stepped across that comment

laughed,

smiled,

I am now ready for sleep.

Thanks Jim : - )

I'm going to put this on our resumé.

"The images we made today were stunning, rich beautiful color and the resolution of a vistavision camera all in a package the size of a Hasselblad 501." John Schwartzman

Yeah, that was the line that sent chills up my spine.
