Stolen last night at around 11pm
RED body 1605 my friends
Sticks Tripod oconner
Angenuix 15-40 zoom
6 batteries 2 chargers
EVF
and other extras.

MY PERSONAL computer system
Mac PRO tower 2.8 8core with raid drives, 30inch monitor just my personal rad system.

This is just stuff off the top of my head
IF YOU GUYS HEAR anything
Please let me know

Sounds like it's time to hire armed security guards to watch gear at night.
$300 a night would probably do it. Maybe rental companies need to start offering this service.

Check the security guards....many times they are the ones that steal gear.

Its an inside job. If those studios are like any of the others that I've been too it has to be security or a cleaning crew. Check the logs and see who was there last night between those times. Should be a short list.

Second why would you leave all your gear in a stage? Unless its with you at the place you are sleeping for the night its isn't safe...and even then lightning can strike. Also the security at some studio lots are running little criminal operations within the studio. Not to long ago a large group of security guards at WB got snagged running a drug ring within the studio.

Security guards provide a false sense of security.

These are police matters. I'm not going to put information out on a public board. It's far more important to try to get the gear back to the rightful owners and the perpetrators brought to justice.

I suggest anyone with additional information contact Luis directly as I did. I posted my note to the forum only in case he had not seen my private one.

Doing walk aways on a shoot are fairly common. Production has the insurance, and there is supposed to be security.

That sucks, especially off a stage.

Also I am glad to see that some people seem to be trying to help already. Perhaps some idiot tried selling the gear to Abel.

This pisses me off so much...

Guards are supposed to get payed extra so they don't want to lose their jobs, the problem is that some companies don't pay enough or keep a closer eye on their people, screen them properly... etc...

This is just disgusting, really hope you get your stuff back man.
