Adobe Announces native Dragon support in Premiere Pro

This is an excellent point. But one could argue that for not much money, you can purchase the needed app for one month. In fact that could even be an argument in it's favor. If they made old archived versions available to CC members.

Actually that's an awfully large amount of money just to check old files.
For example:
I got a phone call earlier this year asking me about a project I produced in 2004. What the client required involved me doing a quick rebuild of the project taking a couple of hours. A job like this is simple, cheap and potentially profitable - except under the Adobe CC model where I would have had to add another ~$100 to my costs which either has to be passed to the client or come out of my profit.

In our profession that type of job/request is not going to go away so, repeating what I said in my earlier post, having to pay out each time or monthly just to access your intellectual property on your own hardware is nothing short of coercion - Pay up or you'll never see your files again.

Then Entire CS6 collection is still available to for download for CC Members.

It's also still available to buy on disk...

All the best

to get JUST premiere for one month is $30.00. To me, that does not seem like a lot of money.. In fact I could bill an "archive retrieval fee" of $30 and my clients would not even blink.

I dunno, I am not that bothered by what Adobe is doing.. I was more upset they stopped Encore, but that app sucked pretty bad.. So perhaps I should just shut up. :)

$30 for an archival retrieval is peanuts. Digging out an old project, relinking files and making a small change is a minimum half day in my world. I've seen $100 minimums at studios just to plug a hard drive in.

Encrypted Credit Card info... (I just realized that CC stands for both Credit Card and Creative Cloud... Hmmm :) )
