That's what I'm talking about. Way to go nutman.

Makes me want to contribute a bit more....I think I will.

I really wish I could donate, but I don't have a bank account!

Come on now. A few dollar bills in an envelop will do just fine. :)

"Contributions can be sent via paypal to my kcorben@yahoo.com account
OR
checks payable to Seaflix and mailed to

When I read this comment I saw the Jim Jannard at the bottom of your post beneath the quote and thought it was written by Jim... Can you imagine a billionaire that didn't have a bank account, I have a picture of Jim swimming around a huge room of money ala scrooge mcduck now hehe!

LOL Paul :)

Actually, I've known Jim Jannard for years, and the cool thing about him is that even though he's wealthy, in my experience, he doesn't flaunt it. He hangs out in T shirts and jeans, and if he passed you on the street or beach, you'd never know he was wealthy. I really respect that in him...

If you were a cigar expert, and he walked by you, you'd probably guess that he was wealthy though...he smokes real good cigars!

Jim is a really cool, down-to-earth person...he just worked very hard and did really well in business.

Shooting good photographic images has been his passion for decades, so his RED project came as no surprise to those that know him.

I thought it would be cool if I could cover that :)

Nutman, you Rock..... That's very generous.

For fun I'm going to pull out my "crystal ball" (guess)....

$2.1K x 4% = $84.00

When he gets a chance, I'm sure Sharky will chime in, and set us straight.

That's what I'm talking about. Way to go nutman.

Since we are nearing our goal, the 2 weeks I suggested will be a long wait and I will most deffinitely forget.
So I added a little bit and sent my contribution a few minutes ago.
If any more fees come up let me know :)

- love your profile, very funny!
It's also true.
On top of that, it builds on the whole "nutman" persona :)
You know what, nutman is what my familly name stands for in greek.
Got stuck with the nickname since second grade.

I just got my tickets (flying in to San Diego for Siggraph on the 5th, then on the 9th I am flying in to San Francisco and on the 13th to LA until the 19th.
While I will be there for 3D training, it would be great to meet some of you guys.

Anything dangerous (got no sense of danger so I tend to get myself into some sticky situations)[ from nutman's profile]

LOL. You wouldn't know it to look at me now... but as a kid growing up in the country, racing motocross, I can relate to "no sense of danger".

I was your basic Nut-Job teenager "adrenaline junkie" who thought he was bullet proof.... till one day when I was 16, standing in the H.S. parking lot and truck ran me over from behind doing a about twenty + mph.

Soooo, watch your back.

I'm in LA, if you need a rescue.... send me a PM.

But for the record, the most danger I face these days.... is on the racquetball court.

Hi there, is there another way to donate besides paypal? For some strange reason I can't access my account. I want to be able to brag about how I helped fund the LART! :P

I think this is only the right thing to do as a part of this community, the least we can do really after all the work and resources going into the LART! And we're exactly the ones that will benefit the most from the results, so... it's a no-brainer!

Thanks.

To be honest I have a sense of danger, but only when it comes to taking care of others.
See, I am a certified skiing instructor and I do particullarly well with little kids in groups of 10-20 :)
But when it comes to watching out for myself...
Over the past 5 years I have made a habit out of finding myself embedded in some rather awkward positions on the front windshield of public transportation vehicles.
Though while the alleged bus was speeding considerably all three times, I got out of it with only a few bruises.
Running across the street, got hit by a bus and then kept going my way... make of that what you will.

Luis you can always send a cheque.
