Are standard full-frame DSLR lenses going to cover this sensor? It's pretty wide. I imagine 16:9 will fit fine.

According to my sketch, this sensor has a 46.3 mm image circle. Glad I don't own any expensive lenses.

I don't understand one important point: if we upgrade to magnesium weapon we buy a new body that is not compatibile for this vista vision sensor? i understand that the carbon version has a priority, but i don't understand why buying a brand new body if not eligible at all for future new sensor upgrade. can anybody explain me that? thanks
Is there different "brains" instide the two "Brains" that limit the horespower needed for Vistavision in the Magnesium body?

It's $10k total right now (NAB promotion) and then it's expected to be $20k total after NAB. *Everything subject to change. It's a good promotion.ok , so just to be crystal clear: the price of the vista vision sensor is 10k or 30k? i mean it's 10k now and 20k to pay at the end of the year , or it's 10k total if you pay now during NAB , and then the price increase to 20k after NAB?
thanks
