7" Touch - Touch out of align

I'm on my 2nd 7" touch, first unit the swivel was over loose and wobbled, much warmer in colour display and the self test maintenance of the touchscreen was out of align.
Not a problem and very speedy replacement received, these things happen.

The 2nd screen is fine apart from the touch is out again. In the self test with the green blocks its very hard, mostly impossible to get all the top line and none from the far left. You can also see the screen info at the bottom as if the grid is not overlaid correct.

As a result sometimes tricky to touch correct part of menu.

I can live with it but any one else noticed this on the 7" Touch. Hoping FW update may remove this problem.

I believe this is a bug with the self test screen not the 7" touch - it should be fixed in the next release. Are you experiencing problems with the touch while operating the camera?

Hi Trent, Ok great to know. It feels out of align when pressing for menus too though. Maybe I should try the Beta and see if its different.

Just an update to say that the alignment grid test on the beta release fw is now correct and sits right within the 7" screen. - Shame this info was not passed down to the reseller when I raised the issue with them.

Did anyone here have issues with specific cables?

One out of 5 LCD cables isnt working for me (intermittent) but same cable works with BOMB/5".

Had to put orange tape on that sucker to avoid on set.

My 2nd screen is now loose at the swivel. Apparently it is a known issue effecting some screens. Don't know if its fixable or swap out. Will send mine in. Great screen though.
