I dunno Phil... showing all this 8k vV footage is just overkill, that is unless you are using it to keep you and YOUR camera busy.
For the rest of us, you are just preaching to the choir. We know how great the camera is and as far as I can tell there is no clear path to ownership outside of the pre-orders so a bit early to appeal to new customers. (Hoping RED doesn't shaft pre-orders by opening up sales at the same time as fulfilling pre-orders.)
Anyway, I for one would prefer to not hear anything regarding 8k vV until deliveries resume for the pre-order queue. Jim's New Project thread went dark and that has, for me anyway, put that out of mind.
I think having reference to 8k vV Unicorns subdued would lower the amount of cortisol release among pre-paid order customers. '-)
