  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Conical shape of the EVF strikes me as the wrong feature atop a game-changing camera, aesthetically at least.

i regret not having the time reading through all the posts in this thread ;-)

looking at the pictures i think it is way more about modularity than the r1 - maybe you get a kind of "base production pack" and just choose or interchange your "sensor module"?

You know when that awesome new toy you ordered arrives, and you can't get into the box because there is some seriously tough tape around it and all you want to do is pull it out........ thats what this is like. great to look at.. but your dying to get into the box and look a little closer without having to stare at the outside of the box.

I thought that by following the action here, I missed tonight's episode of MonsterQuest. Boy, was I mishtooken!
 
It builds out, sort of like the old 35mm slr's where you would attach your big flash on the side and use it as a handle.

And if we have things like this already we know that Jim is going a step further....
