  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Oh, the holes in the Red Riser are for the shoulder mount. That mount looks a little front heavy, though.

yeah i like the Back system wonder if its interchangeable like with a leaf or something simalar

Damn a lower shoulder mount at Blad height. Whats with the lens???

I doubt it but i like the idea

Just checked who's online, and JJ aint, so I'm not sure how much more there will be to come...mind you just about every other RED employee is--do they know something?!

It's look like they're upgrading all the acc. It's nice that we can cash in our R1s at full value, but will I still be able to use my EVF on the Epic?

This makes complete sense if you've actually tried handholding the D90.

The most stable point on a shoulder mount is lower and between both hands, similar to an underwater housing's grips. I put the D90 on my REdrock setup when I first got it and found that if I held it out in front of myself, the setup being so light, it balances very well even when walking.

The only piece missing was the shoulder support and, well, now I see a way to make it work thanks to the render.

ok... now the pic of it set up as an SLR... now you've got me curious!!!!

Everything is add-on. Makes sense to just tack on what you need when you need it. It's a "Digital Back" system, or looks to be similar to it.

Yank off the "DSMC" when you need to have nothing but it and go extremely covert, no audio. Put everything back on when you need more.

Grocery Store, you make the best stolen location.

From this to RED.............................
