  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

It's funny how the very first thing Red put up at Red.com was their specs, back in 2005/06. Everyone thought the webpage was fake. This was right on the eve of the HVX-200 coming out and DVXuser going crazy. HVX was revolutionary at the time for indie filmmakers, just like the DVX. Now, three short years later.... It's hard to remember just how far Red has traveled in such a short amount of time. I'm looking forward to specs, grabs, pics, but most importantly, I'm glad that my current R1 is beyond badass. Seriously, I'm in love with the current breed and can't imagine how you will make this better. Your pursuit to push the envelope from here on out is icing on the cake. Red... you had me at hello.

It's hovering!

Is Epic that light or is that some cool new Red levitation stabilizer system?

:)

I really hope there's a big factory to produce these things next year as demand is going to be HUGE

Scarlet looks a lot like my old Mamiya 645.

What the? The designs keep getting more bisarre! I am really excited to see where this is all taking the future of "film". Btw Jim, if you are all at the office right now... I'd like a party pic from there of you all sipping champagne.
