  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

+1 Monitor Adaptor

Hello Bjorn,
I have no connection with Teradek and i have never seen a bolt but was tempted to buy one so i collected user's opinions on it.
I have posted this message on the Steadycam forum :

Hello Mike,

A friend of mine, Epic user, meet problems to power his Bolt from the +1 monitor adaptor which deliver : 2.0 Amp Continuos load at 11.5 - 17 VDC; using a 4 to 2 pin adaptor cable. His serial is 72001333.

Could you check if his unit got the upgrade and if this is the source for those problems?

Thank's.

Jean

Yes,
Im getting a new power cable from our teradek reseller. Most likely there was nothing wrong with the bolt or the epic simply the power cable that some how did not ground the bolt propably so when the BNC video cable was attached the camera complained. the cable was a "bolt/ epic" power cable from the swedish reseller and they will assured me I have it fixed before the weekend.

Do any bod know the pinout 4 pins on the epic end and two towards the other end.. how should the wires be soldiered... I guess it's in the manual. But maybe somebody here has done some cables and have some documentation on this.

Here's the +1 Pin Out. I don't have the TeraDek schematic handy... FYI, this is the same as the Red One Power Pin Outs.

Does anyone using a +1 Adapter Module also use a SpaceCam Sync Bob Plus?
It looks like the connectors from each unit would collide.
Anyone?

Does the +1 adapter allow the use of Red viewfinders on other cameras, i.e. plug the evf into the input on the adapter and plug the hdmi into your camera's output?
