Long time no see. How is it going?
What have you been up to?
We went to Falkland Islands just before Covid and filmed penguins which was fantastic. It was a logistical challenge, ended up with us shipping 250kg of cameras, gimbal, drones etc. I did a bunch of upgrades after we came home based on our experiences, but have not had time to use them that much.
Raptor questions:
+ how is the sound level from the fan?
+ how is the quality compared to say Monstro?
+ How does it play with CN20 in general. It is the most demanding at 150mm, there it does not quite cover 8k at Helium, but just like you I accept some vignetting sin I can just crop later.
+ How stable is it. At least before when we used Red media we had a lot of crashes with pre-record. Switched to 2TB drives so they should be much more stable but have not filmed so much of late.
Otherwise mostly doing VFX here which has really boomed.
