Sorry nobody responded. I would imagine there is a controller in the battery that is failing and the camera can no longer recognize that it's unapproved. Does it say it with other approved batteries or just this one?

I sold mine to get a Komodo-X. Specifically, I needed the extra frame rates. I do a lot of work where I needed a little bit better slow motion and the better audio and locking RF mount sealed the deal for me. That being said, I still adore the OG Komodo. I would buy it again for sure.
