I whipped this together pretty quick ( shot in 2 hours, edited in 3 ) to get the attention of some local producers here in Louisville....

RED B17 with 8GB CF's, Canon 35mm f1.4 L on the Birger mount, Kessler pocket dolly for some movement.

I have the trailer at the front of my reel: http://www.witzke-studio.com/reel.html

or at 720p here: http://www.witzke-studio.com/vault/the-vault.mov

oh, sorry....

The pocket dolly worked great, very smooth, although you need to make sure your camera is nether to front or back heavy, otherwise it gets less smooth. I put the pocket dolly on top of a hercules 2 head, which is on top of a heavy duty bogen tripod.... the have some cheap monopods at both ends of the pocket dolly to give it support.

How did you Colour Correct it...
Love the tone and Contrast of the faces!

This looks great! My only critique is that the text is too hard to read. A block type font would be much more effective IMO.

Just a suggestion. Again, Nice work!

I know... I just hate the type as well.... should I just use Trajan Pro like 98% of the films out there? or sans type?

Thanks for the compliments folks...

Grading was done with magic bullet looks. I'll probably re-grade it with colorista so I can animate the vignetting.

looks like the actors want to take a stab at some other scenes.... fun!

great work, love the grading, good contrast without blowing the highlights. Beautiful framing and focus rack.
Well Done
Yes, it is well shot and lit, with good composition, but with the assessment on the grading part I would have to respectfully disagree. Increasing contrast of the images carries certain challenges, such as possibilities of blown highlights, like it is in a picture 1 and crashed and more challenging blacks. They do not match, as you can see, as is the skin tone. But, luckily, it can all be easily fixed in post:smile5:
BTW. Something is wrong with your reel. It's not playing correctly...

Hmmm..... I appreciate your advise, I'll re-grade and see how it looks.

also... the seems to play fine from every computer I try it on..... might have been a temp server issue?
