  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Carrion monitor delivery?

Luis, great to hear from you - I'll second the other Dominic's sentiment - contact is the issue (for me at least)...

Keep on keeping on man, and I'm looking forward to our second monitor - thanks for getting back in touch here, please do keep us updated, even if it's bad news...

How hard is it for those that have been waiting as I once did, to get your money back?
 
Still waiting. No money back. No direct communications. No delivery dates.

You are right, people (deposit givers) have been very patient and civil under the circumstance. Very commendable.
 
Wow, it is amazing the patience and civility being exhibited. Heartening. Frankly I don't see how he could live with himself and not update depositors on what's going on. It's not that hard. Maybe he's in a depression loop.
 
What is the size of this "scam?" Are we talking over $100K ..? At any rate, I think it's pretty serious and you guys should chip in for a lawsuit. With 10 people paying $300 each, that covers $3K in legal costs right there.. A theft/fraud of over $500 is considered a felony, I believe.
 
Look, all the indications are that this is a decent guy, who over extended himself. If so, his own conscience is the best motivator we've got.

If he is not a decent guy, there is not enough money involved to warrant any kind of legal action. I hope Luis or his friends are aware of time that is going by and the money we advanced him. I hope he makes good on the monitors if he is able to.
 
Dang it Rob! We are trying to stir up the mob mentality on this thread, and here you chime in as the voice of reason. Can't we just run amuck, just this once? Dangit! :iagree:
 
My gut (and other redusers) tell me he's a decent guy... You gotta ask, wouldn't a decent guy give us an update?
 
He may not be a con-artist but he sure as hell isn't a decent guy. Do you think it's decent to take people's money for a year and a half and then not send them the product they paid for and not even let them know what's going on?
 
Someone needs to take his monitor and take it into the business sector.

Abel Cine or someone take it off of his hands or offer him a partnership because clearly a signal man business of what his trying to do is, great for those that get the monitor but is clearly killing any extra potential he may have...

... well we kind of did that actually. Some time now already. The reason the Carrion is not shipping is because the electronics don't work as they should. What at the end is one of the reasons our monitor costs more (beside the better shell etc.). We will now also be offering a 900 - 1000 nits version. Prices to be posted soon. ....
