Origo SN 234 works fine as well our cables (long, short and coiled), LEMO is engraved on the connectors.

My 4 Lemos in my two VF cables are fine. No problem since day 1.
The fake Lemos with the brand stamped on is a good idea, but why dont add value to the thing stamping on a bigger mark up name like, i'm just brainstorming here, Bulgari, Tiffany, Ferrari

I get the joke, but let's not add to the confusion!

At the moment, based on posts so far, there aren't any "fake Lemos with the brand stamped on them".

It's easy to spot the unbranded third party compatible connectors - they DON'T have "LEMO" engraved on them.

I also wouldn't call them fake as they are not being passed off as genuine Lemos - just compatible.

Should the words LEMO be in the same place on the big connectors as the small ones? Because if that's the case, then none of my VF cables have real lemos on them. I see where it's written on the RED power cable from the drive cradle, but all that's on the VF cables I have are the RED dot. Now, I tried pulling the sleeve back and seeing if I could twist the connector so the pins would rotate, but nothing happened.

Now I'm very afraid to use the cables since there might be a problem...Oh Curt...!

Ok guys, we have all of the cables with the non-lemos away from the production stuff. You WILL NOT see any cables come from us that are non lemo from here on out. If you do not see "LEMO" engraved in the connector then it is not a real lemo connector. Like Mitch said, the connectors for all intents and purposes work but they are just not Lemo. We did not intentionally ship them specifically because they were unpredictable - ie they may fit in one connector but not another or they may have the potential of doing what happened with this power board issue.

Matthew.... ugh, ok. Send them to us and we will take care of it.

Guys, I hope you don't mind but I can't spend all day on reduser. I'm trying to get orders for the motors out the door but the last three days have been shot. As much as I like to respond to everyone on the boards I really need you to just send us an email at info@viewfactor.net so we can take care of these issues. Otherwise its too easy to have these things slip through the cracks.

Just looked over all my cables with the Imperio & Inclino system and all the cables are the non LEMO connectors.....
Bus Cables, Camera Power Cable, and Dtap cable all have fake LEMO's
One cable did cause me grief, as i could not plug it into anything, it just wouldn't click in.....!

The camera does not even appear to have any symptoms! It seems to work fine until....you send it to Red for audio upgrade and you are informed that the damage is severe and the bill is $800. :angry:

Lemo connectors shouldn't be the problem but as I said before we have only received two origos back from all of these power board issue cases and those two had the non-lemo connectors. I think its safe to assume that the Lemos should be fine but I would still do a check to make sure they dont easily go in backwards. Don't force them and pay attention to the red dot placement and you should be fine regardless of which one you have - of course that goes out the door as soon as you need to setup in 20 seconds and its dark outside.
