  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

the viewfactor guys sure went out of their way to get me an origo by the time I needed it for a shoot. I'm pretty sure they are working hard to get these out the door.

I made this to establish two things:

Curt meant to make something for you guys, and he would have if he had not been in a hospital all night long.. So I stepped in to help out. You should be nicer, there was nothing he could do about it.

If you start picking this video apart, then you are on your own. It's a teaser to show you what's coming. It's DESIGNED to cause you to ask questions.. NOT to furnish answers other than the two I listed above.

My voice is almost back, I hope by week's end I will start on the videos and then I will go into EVERYTHING in horrific detail:

will View Factor be delivering units to Birger first?
It does seem they have a large order in.

Please don't give us ship dates or predictions until you actually have finished units being packed up.

I don't mind waiting but I do mind be told one thing then not delivering then being told another thing.

I'm sure you guys are working very hard and I can't wait to see how your product performs once out there.

Did no one notice the iris, mm, and focus settings displayed on the Output monitor??

How realistic is this? Can we expect this feature to surface with RED Support?

Yeah, I noticed it right off. I think it's on the monitors because it works now. The focus distance changed during the rack focus. Unless Jay's been sitting around in After Effects I'd say those functions are ready to go with at least some Canon lenses right now.
 
I'd say it looks like it's been put on afterwards. The position of the numbers doesn't make much sense.
