  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

If anything, that is the page you should remember to update. It will avoid a great number of e-mails. I've written a couple myself, thinking if you were close enough to the 19th, I might still be able to get it on time for a shoot on the 27th. Now I know it won't happen, and I can concentrate on finding another solution.

Curt I look at your update page for info first. Its much easier than looking through all of reduser for the update.
But that said thanks for letting us know the status of the impero's. Knowing whats going on makes it much easier to wait understanding the issues you are having your end.

Strugglin to find out where i am at with my order for both Origio and my Inclino order. I have my order number from you but your website/forum hasn't been updated in a while. The last 4 digits of my original order is 2911 and a small update order i did on a cable is 9101. If you can let me know, great.
 
Tim, your origo is going out tomorrow. We had issues with USPS and couldn't get the shipping system to sync up with the online payment for postage. We are going through and manually doing all the USPS orders which amount to 100 orders... what a pain. Anyway, yours will be going out tomorrow. Sorry for the delay.

Brigham, you are #305.... that will be going out within a couple weeks. We are assembling another batch of 500 origos and are trying to get them our asap.
 
Just wanted to chime in to say that our Origo arrived today- beautifully designed, beautifully built product. Many thanks Curt.
 
Mi order number's last four digits are 8193.

When is this order shipping? I sent an email, but I have not heard anything yet. I paid on August 19th.

Is the shipping schedule for Imperio / Inclino still valid, did anybody recieve it yet ? According to vfs forums the first 50 should have shipped on 19th and the second batch (where I´m in) should ship tomorrow ???

Somehow i have the feeling it won´t ship tomorrow :(

Ordered single motor wireless setup today including:

Impero Standard
1 ft. BUS cable
(2) Impero Marking Rings
Subtotal: $979

Inclino Digital Follow Focus
2.5 ft. RED power Cable
Subtotal: $1,024

Total: $2,003

Based upon their suggestion:

"If you are looking for a single motor wireless setup then you will only need an Inclino, Impero, 1 bus cable and a red power cable. The red power cable will only support one motor due to the power rating on the camera. If you also want to run Impero in a wired configuration then you would need an additional bus cable. Start/Stop is integrated into the Impero controller so there is no need to purchase an Origo."

I will be using this with a 10' Jib/Crane in wireless configuration and only for focus control.

I tried to pay with credit card(VISA,Master,Amex) several times. Each time I was not sucsessfull I tried to get moneywirering info out of you guys...but nothing...why dont you just have it on your website????

Jens wire transfer information is on the store page on the lefthand column. As far a Credit card info. Address and any billing information must match exactly. 95% of all orders are messed up because one digit is off or a number in the mailing address was incorrect. I manually fixed one persons mailing address because they failed to check it before they submited the order. Again be sure everything is correct before submitting.
 
I am turning down all suitors and waiting for my ship to come in. ;-)

I need to know because I have a shoot coming up.
Communication is lacking a bit lately... :umm:
 
Nope, same delay... die cast housings. We are supposed to have them tomorrow per our last conversation with our supplier on Tuesday but I haven't got a tracking number for the parts yet. When I have more info I'll post it as well as an updated schedule. Assuming we receive parts in a few days we can start on production.
 
wait. Now I am confused.

The Impero will be able to start/stop my Red? Was there a reason then that I just ordered an Origo? Will the Impero/Inclino perform the same function as an Origo?

Yes. You will be able to start/stop your RED from the controller. That is the mail reason I haven't gotten an Origo. Although, I would like the 3d party battery monitoring.

So I'm guessing that nothing will be ready to ship by next week then?
 
Curt, based on your post about the Red power cable only supporting one motor, I have a question:

I ordered a total (across two separate orders, #4304 and #8071) of 3 Imperos and 5 Inclino motors, in order to have a 2+2+1 config for my (currently) three cameras. I was planning to run up to two motors on two of the cameras and ordered enough cables to match, I believe.

Is this combo still feasible or should I rethink how this is supposed to work? I based my purchase on the PDF diagram you link to from your site.
