  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Has anyone recieved the microMatteBox for Red One?

Forty days; I'm hoping in forty nights my shipment is on the ark and even at my door! All other times are arbirtary.... :>) Golden tickets are long gone too, I'm afraid. Those units have been well-reviewed and even improved upon. If you're waiting for that number, you've been gone far longer than all others....
 
Mine should arrive on Thursday, according to FedEx. I put in a reservation at some point (end of last year?), but I am not a golden ticket holder. I placed the order at NAB, but my shipping order should come from my reservation.
 
It would be helpful in this thread if people would specify whether they bought a RED package or just the 15mm standard version.

And just to follow my own suggestion: I bought a RED version about one week ago, so I am not expecting to hear anything until late August at the absolute earliest.
 
I ordered the Red Package and got the tracking number yesterday so they're definitely starting to ship.
 
I'm a little concerned b/c I put my order in for the Red Package before many of the people who have indicated they received shipping notification and I have yet to receive any shipping notification. And yes, I am a reservation holder.

Mine has been shipped should have it wednesday or thursday. I was a res holder since way back when, about when they started taking reservations (NAB '07?). I paid on 4/15~4/16, during NAB this year.
 
Ordered a 19mm Red Package MB in November 07 paid in full on 21 April this year so expecting news soon I hope.
 
Got my 15mm Mattebox today...great except the finish seems to come off the flags a little easy.

Hi Rocko. i would love to check and see if it takes an arri or chrosziel bellows like Brian stated. Are you interested in something like that at all?

did you have the 19mm?
Every production model that has been shipping seems to be only the 15mm arm version.

just got mine. woke up and it was at the front door.
I didnt know that there was a new finish?
before it had a similar finish to arri, the speckled type finish... now its more of a smooth finish.

Yeah I have a 1550 and I tried it out last night. Worked great!
 
Im actually quite impressed with how this thing turned out..
at nab I was bummed because it was flimsy and wasnt up to pro level as far as I was concerned. But I was a res holder since 07 and it was very affordable so I bit the bullet and ran with it. I dont know what happend since nab, but this thing has morphed into something useable. I am super happy and it was def worth the wait:)
