  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Has anyone recieved the microMatteBox for Red One?

Update July 28:

Ramped up matte box shipments and microShoulderMounts over the weekend that shipped out today. This week we will also be focused on shipping the Red Bundles that are behind other reservation holders. While we are making steady progress in shipping, it doesn't look like we will get to all reservation holders today. Our shipping comes in waves, where we build up a large number of kits and then do a burst of shipping. That's why sometimes you see a large number of people posting they received their confimation and then a bit of lull. We apologize for the delays and know you want your Redrock gear as soon as possible, and we are working hard to get them to you as fast as possible.

I ordered at NAB...hmmm, I haven't been paying attention, when am I supposed to get mine?

My question too. Ordered right after NAB and the money was taken to cover it. I'd like to at least hear something directly.

Red received my money for the EVF Monday and I'll have it Wednesday. That's a better business model.

If the latest shipping schedule is met I think we'll survive.
 
I paid in full exactly 100 days ago :( would have been REALLY nice to have it for a shoot this last weekend.

Although, I am thinking of just getting a refund and sticking to my gaff tape plan. It's much cheaper..

Guys, I'm a golden ticket holder and my Red Bundle has not shipped either. Last week they said this Monday, but I didn't get any shipping info yesterday.

Must be any day now :)

Redrock is like that flakey friend that you loan money to and never calls you back because he's too embarrassed to face you in person. Then one day, when you least expect it, you get a nice envelope with your return and no interest.


i love you brian & your gear, i just loathe your delays, but then again, i loathe $6k arri matteboxes
 
Nah. It's a great head for my purposes. Primes and lightweight zooms. Tilting requires a little mastery but panning is smooth as butter.. great head if you can find one used

I don't think that they will make that deadline.. If I'm lucky I will receive mine hopefully in august, but counting on September.. Ordered 2 weeks after NAB.
 
Got my FedEx tracking number today. On the Fedex sit its not valid yet, so hopefully I can start tracking it soon.
 
Got my shipping notice today too. res holder from NAB 2007 and paid for April 15th so make your own timetable from there.
