Birger Lens Mount Reservations

Thanks, Eric.

We're all rooting for you.

Yeah, we're in your corner, man, but all these things are taking their toll. If nothing else, just remember to keep those communication lines with Red open.

and us...

Less embarrassment if you spend five minutes a day updating than letting speculation (mixed with frustration) spread rampart like some disease that spreads like wild fire.

Erik, every time you have communicated problems it has been ok, it's just when you say something and when something new happens, you don't update. I know... I know.... Just five minutes and the machine will be fixed... It doesn't matter. You should always communicate worst possible scenario. A lot of "positive" people that listen to those new age gurus think this is negative thinking but i call it reality... and here you have provided perfect example... So the experience is not to waste. You have taught a whole heap of emerging film makers how not to act... That is good.

I agree it's always better to keep up the communication, although I am guilty of keeping silent myself in similar situations. Glad to hear things are moving along. I can't wait to get ahold of this darn thing. Just bought a Canon xsi, so I could use some of the lenses I bought for RED. Funny, I know. but they were lonely.

Just a few others with poor communication skills: Joseph Erber, Albert Einstein, Thomas Jefferson, Wolfgang Mozart, Alexander Graham Bell, Henry Ford, Thomas Edison, Isaac Newton, Ludwig van Beethoven, Bill Gates, Kevin Mitnick, Bobby Fischer, Bob Dylan, John Nash...
Divert all energy to the success of the mount if needed. We really just want one post, "It is done!"

Wow, enough said! Check your emotions at the door when speculating. Why create a hurricane when a nice, cool breeze will do?

Are you comparing the Birger Mount Engineers to these legendary musicians, scientists, chess players, etc... the canon EF mount already exists on every canon dslr. and canons focusing system is state of the art. we've been waiting a year to get a mount that when it ships will have no follow focus knob and we won't be able to tell what our stop is.

So... a package should be "in the mail (Fedex,UPS, etc)" today.

Yeah, that was kind-of a reach; but, I'm just tring to motivate Erik. A little inspiration for him to produce. Discouragement is a deadly contribution to such a awesome cause. Hell, if it helped for me to put on a cheerleading outfit with pom poms I'd do it. Rah, Rah Re, Go Birger!

"Erik, Erik, he's our man..
If he can't do it, no one can"

Once he gets married, Amy will pull him into line... he he he

Oh and Erik, I really, really appreciate the extra time you've put into this mounts so far... Not many companies do that these days...

For some reason I just can't picture your avatar with pom poms...

If we have to look at cheerleaders... somebody send Kelly a cheerleader costume made out of Red stickers.
