  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Who has received scarlet x

Still waiting as well. I did buy some other products as separate purchases the same day Nov 3 and have received those already (the 5 inch touch LCD as well as a 64GB SSD).

Red charged my $975 deposit towards Scarlet but I assume that was a formality with all orders. I truly hope there are some updates tomorrow as they stated they would start shipping Nov 17th which is tomorrow. They also stated in their roadmap months ago they wouldn't state ship dates anymore they could not honor so lets all keep our fingers crossed.

I would love to have my Scarlet Al Mount by Christmas.
 
I'm betting that we'll see an announcement about playback being finalized, uploaded to Scarlet X, and deployed (to Epic users as well) prior to orders being shipped. Just a guess, but this is a big deal and big moment for Red. Also, a very major update for DSMC shooters everywhere.

I bet we'll see that announcement "fairly" soon. That's what my crystal ball tells me :)
 
there has been very little chatting on the boards, and an un-responded to my rep about about another order I have... I take that they are working their asses off today. May be a picture of a fleet of Fed-ex trucks being loaded. Has anyone been contacted about their camera?
 
I have not been contacted yet, I think it would be through email. This is a weird feeling, like a heard of hungry people scrambling to the front of the breadline with our food stamps. Kind of like lemmings.
 
between waiting for my Scarlet order and news from Sundance/Berlin/Rotterdam about my submission, its like a new unique form of torture.....

Never. My understanding is that it is not an issue of firmware but of the max data rate the Scarlet can handle.

In regards to 4k HDRx at 24 fps...

A red team member has stated that they are working on alternate compression schemes to achieve 4K 25fps max on HDRx.
