  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Who has received scarlet x

My question is this...

I asked Brent which states had taxes attached to the camera on purchase and he said CA, WA, and NV. I'm in NV, so that's a bummer. I placed my order for the Scarlet and I didn't see anything about taxes...so I don't know.

Regardless, I just looked at those new RED AA Batteries (great deal for 80 AA's @ 25 bucks) and there was NO taxes.

What does that mean? Do they only tax on certain things?

Did any other cameras ship? I mean you know by Fed-Ex to customers who can't stop by? If they did it strangely quiet around here…

G.

Hard to say unless they tell us something. Tonaci is at RED Studios, so he can pick his up. That means others might be able to as well.
Maybe Jarred will tell us how many went on the truck this week.

They changed the line in the store for the PL mount to read: "Currently shipping in limited quantities"… so I guess they are out there. I just kept expecting people to be on here bragging that they rec'd their shipping confirmation.

When you receive your camera, can you do us a favor and shoot the same frame still at 5K,4K, and 3K so we can compare them?
Or chop the 3 frames together into one?
Maybe a shot down a street between buildings, or something with some depth and color variance.
I'd really like to know how 3K compares in RAW.

Is there even a sales tax in Nevada? Or am I getting that confused with income tax, or Oregon, or something. LOL
