:) i Love mpeg streamclip

Edit:
btw Jarred, did you know that mpeg streamclip also supports elgatos turbo sticks?!

I think it was your suggestion to try it... thanks. I like it too.

Jim

I'm glad I could be of help. :)
Getting great results with it starting at 15 or 16 MBit. Sometimes even lower
I'm trying to contact Stefano cinque to find a solution to maybe even optimize contrast and color.

my god i did not know this.. .you just made my day... scratch that.. my week.

You're more than welcome. I'm glad if I can help! Now I just hope it works for you.

Yes, MPEG Streamclip is great, and the X264 codec as well. Make sure to go in and explore the options thoroughly. A lot of cool tricks in there.

Also, those using Compressor are you choosing a color space in the settings. If not, try that.

@Jarred - Question from one of the few posts, but loyal followers of reduser (and future Scarlet owner). What is the policy on showing up at RED STUDIOS? We'll be visiting Disneyland with the family next week, and I would love to see "Tattoo" in all its glory, and maybe touch my next camera. I'd even buy you that dinner I promised you that one night you were working late (wait, that's every night), but had to go home.

wow what an improvement over the 1k version :)

Awesome, the 2K version looks Much Much Much Better, the background don't have the polarized filter look of dancing pixels in the background any more, I knew it was the video compression. The EPIC captures awesome blacks and beautiful color tones. Thanks for uploading the higher res version. This video is a great example of the image quality EPIC is capable of.
