I am glad to announce that Bryan Singer has chosen to shoot EPIC for his next feature " JACK THE GIANT KILLER "

Bryan.. floor is yours.

I'm very much looking forward to using the EPIC Red for my next movie "Jack the Giant Killer" which will be shot in, what else, 3D. The camera's incredibly compact size and extraordinary resolution are ideal for the 3D format.

But more importantly "Jack the Giant Killer" is my first movie set in a time before electricity. The EPIC's extraordinary exposure latitude will allow me to more effectively explore the use of natural light.

Bryan! Welcome to the forums. Huge fan of yours since Usual Suspects. USC Critical Studies for the win!

You guys are on some sort of roll, one huge picture after another. Congrats on the well-deserved success. I think 3D will push the industry entirely to digital sooner rather than later, so it's the right place to focus resources, camera and workflow-wise.

Kind of awestruck Bryan Singer posted here. X-Men 2 was pretty much awesome. (Usual Suspects was okay, too...)

This is pretty insane... Congrats to everyone at Red!

Happy Holidays Everyone!

Welcome to the best filmmaking community on the internet, Bryan. We are honored to have you here!

Welcome to the forum Bryan!

The EPIC's extraordinary exposure latitude will allow me to more effectively explore the use of natural light.

This is the capability that has my interest most at the moment. I'm already thinking of ways to put it to good use.

EPIC's size, resolution, and latitude are a powerful combination!

Seems like soon it will be easier to make lists of films not shot on Red...

Love it. Can't think of any other forum where you get major feature film announcements AND have the directors and DPs dropping in to say hi. Jarred, thanks for the awesome news.. Bryan welcome to reduser. =)
