  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Zhiyun gimbal Crane2 with RED

Overall very surprised it can handle it at all. Def. a very limited use. The tilt axis has at least very limited angles overall. Otherwise, I didn't see any tilt movement at all - camera pointing straight horizontal.

The payload is working out here. But no real movement. I think the Letus is the best gimbal so far. In terms of compact, light and maneuverability.

But not in terms of price. If I'm going to throw down that much money I'd rather just buy a bigger gimbal like a MoviPro.

Looks pretty underwhelming to me. For using a 14mm lens there's a ton of shake in the footage, I would expect much less assuming somewhat experienced operators. I'm guessing the form factor makes control a bit difficult with all that weight so high above the handlebars. I'd be interested in trying it out just to see how capable it is, but I suspect it's unusable in a production environment.

At 2:57 in the video they connect the cables for the monitor and battery.
