Dear friends, now giant cine camera manufactures like Arri,Red ,sony started making full frame sensor/vista vision sensor cameras,in this context we have to think on Zeiss CZ lenses!,in terms of overall optical quality like boketh ,sharpness, breathing color retention,ca,Zeiss CZ lens is extremely better ,and equally competetive to its immediate rivals,in terms of price, there is no other lens to beat it ,I think that Zeiss CZ lens optical quality is far better than Zeiss cp2/3 ,and in par with ultra prime!,over all it has Zeiss good will, please start a new discussion....

I've owned a Zeiss CZ 28-80 2.8 for 2 years now. Love it!

Ive got the Zeiss 28-80mm, its a great lens.
Sharp and consistent.
Works on both commercial and documentary style shooting with an
easy rig of course for handled.
