  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hello,

Does the Resolve TIFF exporting option in XYZ color space adjust the gamma from 2.2 to 2.6, as needed for DCP authoring? I have ask this question to many different people, and the answers are not consistent.

Would someone confirm this for me, please?

An update, based on official BMD response to my tech. support e-mail: it is fully usable for DCP TIFF exporting step as long as the footage was graded with a monitoring system calibrated at P3 specs, which includes the gamma at 2.6.
