WTB RED ONE MX Package

I'm looking to buy a RED One MX package that I can shoot with as soon as I make the purchase. My budget is $22,000. Im looking for just enough equipment to shoot immediately and I'd like to be able to use the Nikon and Canon lenses I already have. So the ef mount of nikon mount would be helpful.

Good luck mate. 22,000.00 for a "ready to shoot" red MX is really, probably not going to happen. you'll be good to get the body used at 20,000.00 But I wish you luck either way ^_^

Once Epic-S is launched... the R1 price is going to drop like crazy... so people might be ready to cash in at an "in between" price now.

I really doubt that....Have you seen how much a RED MX body is on RED.com?

If, like Jim says... all R1 owned Epic-X will be shipped by summer... there is going to be a pretty healthy and cheap R1 marketplace. Once Epic-S arrives at $12k or so.... who would pay more for an R1-MX?

This is only speculation, of course.... but I cannot see an R1-MX being worth even $10k by the end of the year... all i'm saying is that these next few months might be the right time to sell and still get a reasonable price.... before the marketplace is saturated.

Many people on here are selling M-X for a lot more than your unsubstantiated OPINION of their value or future value. Way to make it more difficult for them... at least with this buyer.

Selling my body for 20k... if you are shooting on CF cards... then it's possible you could get a "mobile" ready to shoot system up for around 23k. The 5.6" LCD screen and batteries being your biggest expenses.
