WTB: Carbon stuff.

This is a question for RED.

Is it possible to gut our epic M when upgraded to get the carbon parts. We need the camera as light as possible for a specific moco solution and FD mount and lenses + carbon would get us right under the bar where we need to be. In other words I have no use for the magnesium mount and it would be nice not to have to sell our beloved epicM and then buy a D carbon.

I need to get under 4kg with focus motors, Bolt, lens,filters, camera, camera mount and lens mount. Which is borderline with the normal epic.

But I think we will be able to swing it. We will built a carbon mount for the camera and keep everything as light as it could possibly get. But a bit of head room would be much appreciated. 1lbs would pretty much sort everything.

Since ordering my Carbon Dragon, I've started to become acutely aware of carbon craze creeping into my subconscience. I'm not going to try to make the camera a feather, and I actually like a little girth and heft to my camera, but unnecessary wight is being cast aside for cooler looking fare that jus so happens to be lighter too!

It took me years to get over my Carbon addiction. I have race cars full of carbon.. The last thing I need is to get back on the carbon drug. (A Carbon EVF? perhaps) for my Carbon Dragon... STOP IT MARK !!!! .. Sheeeesh !

The reason for asking...

Pico would really benefit from having a carbon body, as we are chasing grams to get bellow 6kg total, including everything from camera mount, camera, lens, focus motors and matte box.
