Especially how you can achieve dynamic balance with just the cradle hanging down on the low end of the post? I've never seen a proper picture of the low end... also, you can't spread out the weight then, right??

Here is a picture of the low end. The actioncam is great because it uses your existing red cradle that you will likely own anyway if you have a red. In the red drive slot I use a brick which gives enough weight for balance.

That's right, you achieve dynamic balance by "swinging" the red cradle in our out (this is if you have a Red edition Actioncam - our other models have 19mm rods to spread out).

Hi Tonaci,
sorry, no more pictures. As soon as my Red comes back from red London and goes on the Actioncam again i'll post a closeup.
The rod adaptor is the standard actioncam mount inverted, you can mount it to place the rods horizontally. The cradle and the battery baseplate are mounted on Red universal mounts. I'm using longer drive and monitor cables inside the tube.
