  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Wooden Camera Quick Back

I just noticed that the quick back is currently out of stock. Whats the cheapest way for mounting V mount batteries to the Scarlet/Epic? I have 10 days to find a solution. Can someone shed a light?

MG1 Concepts have them. I just bought one from them wt detachable plate. I've been looking too.
 
Switronix plate is confirmed to transmit battery %age to the camera, which is the only advantage V-mount has over AB (which has a stronger mount and smaller footprint on the back of the camera, that's why I went with them, got my batteries from Beillen w/ free charger)

Anyone know if the MG-1 plate transmits %age?
 
I wrote MG1 and was told that their "D-plate" is backordered a few weeks. I ended up getting a Switronix plate at Abel, but still in a lurch for a way to attach it to my Scarlet!

I know that battery plate on quick back is wired correctly to show remaining percentage if red bricks are used however I would like to see voltage information instead. Is there an option is Scarlet / Epic menus to select that?

I Just sent CinemaOxide my Switronix plate since Wooden Camera was back ordered. Their original plate didn't work on the Switronix plate but they are in the process of Prototyping a new one. Call them up and ask, I don't think it's posted on their website but I should be getting mine in a couple days .
