Just got my Wooden Camera Accessories - rugged built, precision royal: Absolutely Dope!

Just wanted to ask what is your experience with the Quick-Back.
I got a V-Mount-Plate on the QuickBack on my Scarlet and usually use 160Wh Batteries which are not so heavy.
For the Quick Back you got to Options: Just Snap it on the Triangle on the back of the Cam which makes
changing setup a breeze. Or you mount the Plate to the Cam with 4 additional screws.
What "mode" do you prefer? Has anyone ever had the Plate coming off in SNAP-ONLY-Mode while moderate
run & gun?

I'm a "snapper". I take the plate on and off a lot for DSMC Side Handle/Redvolt use and house power use a bunch. This was one of the selling points for me with the Quick Back.

I will say if I was shooting say shoulder mounted for a week or something, I'd bolt it on real quick for safety.

I've always just "snapped" mine on and never had a problem with the battery coming off by accident.

I haven't yet, but I don't go flipping the camera around a ton either. Triangles in general, geometrically speaking, are quite strong :)

Yep nother snapper here. That's the biggest plus for me, the ease of functionality. Certainly no problems so far. Love it.
Only thing is that I recommend plugging in prior to mounting. Considerably easier and less likely to bend pins or any such.

Best

Yeah, if my Scarlet's going onto a serious jib arm or remote head, I think I'll bolt on, but I'm a snapper as well... I'll see if I still feel the same way if I ever add a module in between the camera and battery plate, but for now +1 snapper.

I don't own one, but I visited Ryan and checked it out and used it. Snapping seems sturdy enough for me.

While I was there, I got to take a peak at some of his new products. They are pretty awesome..

I have the quickback with the Anton Bauer Plate and only have it on Snap Mode. How would you be able bolt on the quick back plate after you install the Anton Bauer, Or Vmount plate, since those plate cover up the front side of the Quick back plate where the bolts to the camera go through?
