  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Will the new FCPX be released on monday june 6th at new Apple software announcements?

I agree. FCPX won't be released until after Lion, and from the rumors, it looks like Lion could hit on 14th June.

Lion, iOS and iCloud are big. FCPX is not something for the developers conference, which is what Monday's keynote will be based around.

My guess would be Lion released within the next week, iCloud not long after followed by iOS after that.

FCPX will arrive in June, not not on Monday.

It would be interesting to plug-in developers to know about the FCP X architecture. But the focus will be on Lion, Cloud, etc.

I bet it'll hit pretty close to the Lion launch since both will work together to maximize 64-bit.

The general indication from Apple is end of June for FCP X. Later in the year for Lion. FCP X will likely install some advanced components that will later be part of Lion in order to make it work. Probably will require the latest patched version of 10.6 (likely 10.6.6, .7 or .8) to install. Seems that's a given, since the purchase and installation is through the App Store. But I agree, I doubt it will show up at WWDC.
