The specs mention nothing about audio. Does anybody know if the Scarlet will record audio? I would assume it'll have dual XLR inputs? Or maybe it wont record audio at all?

Just give us a timecode connector and we (or sound recordist) can record to a Sound Devices 702T slung over our shoulder. $2500 - and you'd have something that'd record amazing-quality audio for years (audio is a mature technology IMHO), with real pots, LEDs, etc.

http://www.alesis.com/io2 - $129 - USB connectivity...hook that up to the USB port and you have audio....just an idea! RED could license one of these solutions and have 2 full sized XLRs without compromising body size.
IMHO, that doesn't work for most of Scarlet's target audience. I could be wrong.
