Hey Guys,
on my last shoot i recognize these wierd black shadows on my image. Is this just a sort of strange lighting or is it a sensor problem. In the Video you can see that it is moving when i move the camera. We dont add any special lighting just some leds from above. https://vimeo.com/242580851/247f631a50
Everything was shoot with 8:1 5K FF. I cant help myself what it is. I can upload some R3D´s aswell.
Please Help and Best regards!

At first I thought it might be banding caused by fluorescent flicker... but this looks a little different as it's pretty black. Did it ever move to a different position on the screen, or did it stay right in that spot in all shots? You tried re-installing the lens and/or a different lens?

Questions.

Did you use a matte box with any filter in it?

What was your shutter speed?

What were the LEDs you used?

Reasons I ask all of these. I've seen somebody half way slide a filter tray into a matte box that resulted in similar. It's possible you are off frequency with your shutter speed with either your general lighting condition or LEDs. That can play a role.

Hey thanks for the fast answers.
No i had not used a matte box with any filters.
The Shutter Speed was 45 degree and I recorded 50 fps. The Job was in Europe so 50 hz is standard here.
We used a couple Dedolights to light the room out which are not supposed to flicker.
What I noticed later is that on the other side of the street was a large LED panel for displaying advertising but I thought if I stayed within 50Hz (1/50;1/100;1/200 etc.) that should not be a problem?
So maybe these Panel has had a bigger impact on the image.
You ever see something comparable when shooting of frequence?`
Thanks for the help. I am there next week for a reshoot and i think we probably have no choice to darken the whole store from outside impacts. I will try and tell you.
So big thanks for the fast help and I hope that its just these evil LED Panel, dont want to give away my Red.
