  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Why?

@ David-Kramer - the camera exists, it is real.

How many days do you need to shoot with it? I can set up a rental for you through Digital Film Studios:

818.771.0019

Los Angeles based - will ship to the world at Large.

All you need is an insurance cert, major credit card, and the dough to rent it. We also can get you lenses.

Coolio. I hope Scarlet isn't using that Cro-Magnon glass..

Cro Magnon glass ?

Are you talking about 2/3" HD ENG glass ?

Because that is some of the very best lens design and manufacturing in the world - at any price.

Here's a comparison ... Fujinon recently debuted an 18-85 lens at T2 that impressed the heck out of people in the SALT test. They preferred it to the Angeniuex.

Fujinon's history has been in making that "cro magnon" glass.

So, take some time and get to actually know their product.

As a possible Scarlet user, you should be ecstatic at the possibility of using broadcast lenses with your Scarlet.

Haha, I was just making a joke as the eng glass was referred to as "highly evolved".. The opposite of "highly evolved" would be Cro-Magnon I suppose. Just a little light hearted fun ; )

Oh, ok. Sorry.

I guess I checked my sense of humor at the keyboard or something.
